  • HttpOnly ? An HttpOnly cookie is a special type of web cookie sent by a server and given an HttpOnly flag. This flag tells the web browser that client-side scripts (like JavaScript via document.cookie) are forbidden from reading or modifying the cookie. However, the browser still automatically attaches it to server requests. Purpose and Security: - Blocks Script Access: JavaScript cannot read an HttpOnly cookie. If a site runs untrusted or malicious scripts, those scripts cannot scrape sensitive data from the cookie. - Stops XSS Theft: It mitigates Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Attackers cannot steal session identifiers or authentication tokens this way. - Server Communication: The browser still sends the cookie back and forth during regular HTTP/HTTPS requests to the matching domain.
  • language ? A DNN cookie is created called "language" to store the current language - in a monolingual install this is simply the browser default language, but if the site supports multiple languages then this may be different based on the language selected by clicking in the languages skin object.
  • LastPageId ? A DNN cookie used by the CMS to store the last visited Page.
